Merwin Joses - The Man of Professional Social Work

Merwin Joses, aged 38, is a seasoned social work professional holds Master's in Social Work (MSW) and Professional Degrees in Education & Arts, He with a lifelong passion for community service. Inspired and nurtured from childhood by socially committed parents, Merwin began engaging in social activities early in life and transitioned into professional social work at the age of 18. With nearly two decades of dedicated experience, he has built a strong foundation in community development initiatives, particularly focusing on children, youth and women welfare.

Although brought up in a typical village setting, Merwin's vision and dedication transcended geographical boundaries. His efforts and contributions have been acknowledged globally by various social work organizations, reflecting the depth, reach, and excellence of his work.

Through his involvement in diverse roles across the social work spectrum, Merwin developed a clear understanding of the importance of evidence-based and purpose-driven interventions of social work rooted in research and aligned with the developmental aspirations of communities. Motivated by this realization and fortified by his extensive experience, he established the International Social Research and Development Foundation to systematize and strengthen research-oriented social change with clear objectives.
